The car is an Arctic Silver 2002 Porsche Carrera 4S with approximately 102k miles on the chassis. The 2002 model is designated 996.2 which has the new face lift with revised headlights and shares the Turbos wide body, larger brakes, all wheel drive system, 10mm lower sport suspension, Porsche Stability Management System (PSM), full leather interior, and runs the normally aspirated Carrera 3.6L M96 motor.
The body is in good condition for a northern car. The car was originally purchased in Illinois then migrated to Massachusetts before making it's way to Texas. Luckily there is no major work needed on the body but the hood has a significant scratch and needs to be resprayed. The wheels need some refurbishment and the interior needs some freshening up. The biggest issue is the motor which had some coolant contamination and destroyed it. Buying an 18 year old Porsche could be a challenge. Let the fun begin...
